Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a catalog?
We do not have a print catalog at this time.

What's the difference between the Wish List and the Gift Registry?
The Wish List is a way for you personally to keep track of items you are interested in and may want to purchase at a later date. Add items to your wish list so you don't have to go back and find what it was that you wanted. It is also a great way to keep gift ideas for birthdays and holidays.

The Gift Registry is a way for you to share with others items that you would like to receive as gifts. You may choose to register for a baby shower, a birthday, Christmas, etc. You can keep your registry private or allow others the ability to search by your name. You may choose a registry nickname so that the general public will not see your real full name. Visitors do not see your shipping address.

Do you offer your products wholesale?
We do not wholesale our products.

Do you accept Special Orders?
Yes, we are happy to accept special orders for any of the brands we carry. Many of our toys are shipped from Germany, so when considering a special order, please order well in advance.

Are you really Three Sisters?
Surprising as it may be, I am not one of three sisters! Nor do I have 3 daughters -- our 3rd turned out to be a boy! The name comes from the philosophy of Waldorf education in regards to child development. In the first seven or so years, the child seeks to see that the world is a place of GOODNESS, and will learn primarily by imitation and through activity. This is why Waldorf Nursery/ Kindergartens emphasize creative play as vital early foundation for creative thinking.

In the next developmental phase (leading up to puberty) the child most naturally learns through BEAUTY. This is why storytelling and art are employed as teaching vehicles throughout the elementary curriculum.

And then, entering into the third developmental stage and ready at last for true independent thinking, the teenager naturally begins a quest for TRUTH.

These three: GOODNESS, BEAUTY and TRUTH are the Three Sisters. I hope that all of my products will uphold these values for children.
