Since the recent toy recalls, we have received many inquiries about the origin and safety of our products.
We want to assure you that all of our toys are non-toxic and lead-free. In following with our philosophy of natural, open-ended toys, many of our products are made of natural wood, organic cotton, wool, and silk. Most are made in the USA and European countries; however, some are made in China.
ALL the companies we purchase toys from have met stringent safety standards and have passed tests such as the European Standard EN71 and the American ASTM Standard. These companies do not make toys in mass production, as they are smaller companies that specialize in a specific type of toy and are thereby better able to oversee the safety of production.
We have tried to include the country of origin on each product on our website. We have also separated our toys by country of origin as seen below. We hope this will ease your mind and help you choose from our selection of wonderful toys!
